In 2008, more than 2,500 individuals in over 950 families participated in programs offered by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Family Outreach Center.
- Over 120 children participated in Child and Youth Services programs
- 32 parents completed Welcome to the Circle seminars
- 5 parents completed a twenty week Circle of Security group
- 954 families utilized information and referral services
- 125 families received vouchers for food, household supplies, utility payments, infant supplies or rental assistance
- 347 children started school with all the supplies they needed
- 128 families got help with holiday gifts, food, and decorations
- 42 of the most troubled families participated in home visiting, parent education and counseling services
- 16 families participated in long term, ongoing support services
- 32 families participated in attachment therapy, parent education, and/ or counseling services
