Family Outreach Center

Ways To Donate

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Family Outreach Center relies on a variety of sources to help support its mission. Government funding for social service programs continues to decrease despite the growing need for these types of programs in the community. Your donation to the Center ensures that the children and families we serve receive the support they need to thrive in the Spokane community.

Private and Corporate Donations
Your financial contributions help sustain the programs and services that the Center offers to the children and families of Spokane. In some cases, your employer may have a matching program, further extending the benefit of your private contribution.

If your business has a community giving program, we would love to collaborate with you! Contributions from local businesses have allowed us to make significant improvements to our facilities, programs, and services.

Cars for Charity (www.cars4charity.org)
Consider donating your used car, trailer or boat to Cars for Charity, a local non-profit organization run as a collaborative effort between Spokane County United Way member organizations and Pull & Save Auto Parts, a local auto salvage yard. Your vehicle will be converted into a tax deductible donation that will be used to benefit social service programs in Spokane County.

Visit the Cars for Charity website or Facebook page for more details on how to make a donation.

Workplace Campaigns
Donations to the Center can be made through the United Way, the Combined Federal Campaign or the Combined Fund Drive. To ensure that your contribution is allocated to the Center, please be sure to use our 5-digit code number 59457 when donating through the Combined Federal Campaign, and our 6-digit code number 315430 when donating through the Combined Fund Drive.

Donations in Kind

Please visit our Current Wish List for a description of the products and services that we currently need.
